I'm am pleased to see that my copy of Interweave Knits made it to me through the intricacies of the US Postal system. Apparently it went out before they had updated their records with my change of address, but fortunately managed to get forwarded to me anyway. I've actually had it for a bit, but am just now taking a closer look at it.
Here are the patterns I like:
- Padded Footlets - cute footies with yarn doubled on the sole, a lace instep and heel flap, and a single stripe accent at ankle and just before toe decreases.
- Sketchbook Cover - I would modify it into a journal cover though.
- Dylan Goes Electric - an nice guy's sweater: it starts out as a basic rib, but some of the ribs turn wavy up the body of the sweater (my friend Nick has already seen this and put in his
demand request for it - hmmm, we'll see!). - Shoulder Shrugs (summer staff project) - I like the one by Pam Allen which is simply ribbed with little ruffles at the ends of the elbow-length sleeves.
