Rogue Dreams
I have been looking longingly at the Rogue sweater pattern for some time now. It is definitely on my to-do list, but I'm not sure when it will happen. First, I actually need to buy the pattern. Also, I need to figure out what yarn I will use. Plymouth Stone Cotton in color #285 or 255 was just recently brought to my attention, and it appears from online pictures to be just what I was envisioning for this sweater. However, I don't know about using a cotton/acrylic blend or what it really looks like off-screen or how it feels or where I could get my hands on it to find out. Another thing is that I have a knitted hoodie that I completed not-so-very-long-ago, and I will probably never wear it again once I have a Rogue! Of course, all of these considerations are very minor hurdles which I shall certainly overcome. Meanwhile, I will just continue to enjoy the vicarious pleasure of seeing others knitting up their Rogues out there in cyberland.
