Look, Ma, no needles!

It's been many years since I last crocheted, but after a brief reaquaintance with the basics, I find my hands flying along on this project as if I'd never put down my hooks at all. While knitting will still be my main yarn activity, I think I'll be enjoying the variety of a crochet project much more often. In this case, I notice my gauge has tightened up as I've gotten back into the rhythm of things, causing the cuff to look a bit ruffled. If it doesn't even out after I've added the edging and blocked, I will have to try duplicating the inadvertent ruffle for the second sleeve -- hopefully, turning the flaw into a design feature.
