Listening Material
I have discovered the joy of listening to audio books while knitting. I love to read, and I love to knit -- this makes it easy to do both at the same time.
As I work on my Nothin' But a T-shirt, I'm listening to the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. These were some of my favorite books as a child. I read them then and am listening to them now in their original order:
- The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
- Prince Caspian
- Voyage of the Dawn Treader
- The Silver Chair
- The Horse and His Boy
- The Magician's Nephew
- The Last Battle
I mention this because you'll find them numbered differently in bookstores today. Apparently, there is quite a controversy concerning which order they should be read in. In fact, it really doesn't matter. You can enjoy them in the old order, the new order, or possibly even completely at random. In any order, I recommend them, and I look forward to the Narnia movie coming out this Christmas.
