I'm currently playing around with the Mason-Dixon Knitting "Ballband Dishcloth". Since the stitch pattern produces some rather funky edges, I decided to see if I could neaten them up a bit. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a warshrag having wonky edges, but I thought I'd experiment with various ways of working the edge and dealing with switching colors. After I figure out how I'd like to tame those edges, I'll probably follow nona's example by casting on extra stitches and working extra rows to make myself a "Ballband Dish Towel" instead of just a small dishcloth.
If you figure out nice edges, won't you post a pattern? I've made one of
the ballband dishcloths for a gift, and didn't like the edges either.
