Delizioso!
Our friends, Nick and Ed, took John and I out to Filippi's Pizza Grotto for dinner tonight. Although they now have several locations throughout the county, we went to their original location in downtown San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood. I highly recommend it. First, the atmosphere is fun -- you walk through the well-stocked Italian deli to reach the dining room where the ceiling is hung with Chianti bottles, each with date, names, and occasion celebrated written on the straw covering. Second, the food is simply delicious classic Italian fare, generously portioned, and quite reasonably priced.
Yeah....great...and I've just eaten an oven pizza and drinking myself into
oblivion with cheap wine.....(damn the knitting Olympics project
