My second summer sock is knit up to the point where I need to start the short-row heel. It's waiting for a moment when I am ready to concentrate on such things. Meanwhile, I am contemplating ripping the first sock back to this point as well. These are toe-up socks, and I am very pleased with my toes which were started with a figure-8 cast-on. The heel and bind-off on the first sock leave a bit to be desired though. I may experiment with some different methods of short shaping to see if something else works better for me. The bind-off has really frustrated me though. I've tried several methods, and it is either too tight or too sloppy.
I actually finished knitting my boundless blue blanket a few weeks ago. It simply needs the yarn ends woven in. Since I much prefer knitting to finishing, this has been sitting forlornly in a bag next to my couch. I did get a couple ends hidden away last night. Hopefully, I'll dedicate some more time to it this weekend.
